LIP AUGMENTATION OPTIONS:

• Collagen injections from purified bovine collagen involve a series of treatments that generally last from three to five months. The collagen plumps up the border of the lips and raises the droopy corners. You must pass a skin test before using this treatment.
• Restylane®
• Alloderm is a natural collagen sheet made from donated skin and is inserted through tiny incisions inside the corners of the mouth. This eventually integrates with your own natural tissues and does not migrate. It gives the look and feel of fat grafts with minimal risk of allergic reaction.
• Surgical Lip Procedures offer a more permanent solution, are quite simple and safe and effective. An incision is made along the vermillion border (the line where the colored part of the lip meets the skin), a tiny strip of white skin is removed and the red lip edge is advanced outward and stitched in place. This heals quickly with almost no visible scarring and offers the most satisfactory…longest lasting results for people with "thinning lips."
• Lip Implants are permanent….very common, easily inserted and are another option to consider. Using one of many implants available, Doctor will thread thin strips of this material into the lips using a special needle. The results are added bulk to naturally thin lips and restored fullness to lips that have thinned with age. Again, this is a permanent, long-lasting satisfactory solution to enhance your lips.
